Tetra Strategy has appointed Ed Balls’ digital communications adviser Ellie Gellard to head up digital media.
Ellie has advised a string of senior Shadow Cabinet members on digital and social media.
In May 2010 when she was taken on by the Shadow Chancellor to help run his campaign for the Labour Party leadership.
Ellie hit the headlines in April 2010 when she was chosen to introduce Gordon Brown at the launch of Labour’s election manifesto.
She has regularly featured in newspaper and magazine features on the political stars of the future. Ellie is an experienced commentator on television, radio and in newspapers and she has 10,000 Twitter followers.
The appointment comes weeks after Tetra hired the News of the World’s former Deputy Political Editor Jamie Lyons as Director and Head of Media.
Tetra Strategy was formed in 2007 by founding partners Lee Petar and James O’Keefe and advises some of the world’s leading companies and individuals on managing their reputations and achieving their strategic communications goals.
