On Public Affairs News TV this week I called for a new category of Parliamentary pass for accredited lobbyists. I believe this move would improve levels of transparency and legitimacy in the dealings between Parliamentarians and interest groups. The Government will be responding soon to the PASC report into lobbying so now is a good opportunity to consider an innovation like this.
