    James O'Keefe

Founder of Tetra Strategy with 15 years experience advising leading companies and organisations on public affairs campaigns, strategic communications, and reputation management. A career rooted in the UK public affairs industry James has held a number of senior positions and run award-winning PA agencies.  During the mid-nineties he recognised that the UK public affairs sector was failing to integrate media strategies into public affairs campaigns and went on to develop the ‘Political Public Relations’ model.  In his early career James worked for the Labour Party in the Leader’s Office between 1996 - 1997 during the landmark 1997 General Election campaign.  He also worked for Rt Hon David Blunkett MP and completed an ESU internship on Capitol Hill, Washington DC.  James has created and implemented a number of award winning PA and PR campaigns and is recognised by industry commentators as one of the country’s leading practitioners in his field.  With a keen interest in art and painting in particular, James founded the Westminster Arts Club and has developed a sponsorship link with the Royal College of Art.  James is also a Trustee of the UK Centre for Economic and Environmental Development and sits on the Advisory Board of Smarta.
