Jamie Lyons
Jamie Lyons is Director and Head of Media at Tetra Strategy.
Jamie has 12 years’ experience in the national media. From 2006-2011 he was Deputy Political Editor of the News of the World, based in the House of Commons. He delivered agenda-setting exclusive stories and worked on major campaigns such as Sarah’s Law which achieved 15 pieces of child protection legislation. Before that he was a political correspondent with the national news agency, the Press Association, having been taken on to launch its coverage of the Welsh Assembly in 1999. He has extensive contacts across national and regional media and a network of contacts at senior levels in all parties, Whitehall departments and influential think-tanks. He also lectures in corporate communications, media relations and public affairs at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the London College of Communication. Jamie currently leads on corporate communication and media strategies for a range of clients, bringing knowledge of how journalists think and what makes a story.
