Ruwan Kodikara

    Ruwan Kodikara is an Account Director at Tetra Strategy.

    For over seven years, Ruwan has worked on a number of high profile public affairs and media campaigns including for Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Airbus, Welsh Water and the Government of Dubai. One of the founding members of Tetra Strategy, Ruwan previously worked in the consumer, political communications and international relations divisions of the Bell Pottinger Group, focusing in particular on public sector bid procurement campaigns. He previously worked for the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Press Office including the 2001 and 2005 General Elections, launching the party’s 2001 London election manifesto and dealing with specialist and regional media. In the 2010 General Election he worked on the Leaders Tour managing visits by Nick Clegg, Vince Cable and Lord Ashdown around the UK. He also previously worked for Edward Davey MP (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department of Business Innovation and Skills) and worked on the successful Liberal Democrat leadership campaign for Nick Clegg MP providing media relations and intelligence briefings in the campaign press office. Ruwan is also a Committee Member for Liberal Democrats in Public Relations and brings campaign and crisis communications expertise.
