Ruwan has over five years experience providing PR and public affairs advice to a number of high profile clients from a range of sectors. Specialising in campaigns, he recently worked on the 2010 General Election for the Liberal Democrats as a member of the Advanced Team organising visits by Nick Clegg, Vince Cable and Lord Ashdown across the UK.  Previously, he worked for the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Press Office, including the 2001 and 2005 General Elections, dealing with specialist and regional media.  He also worked for Edward Davey MP.  In 2007 he worked on the successful Liberal Democrat leadership campaign for Nick Clegg MP providing media relations and intelligence briefings in the campaign press office. Ruwan is a keen musician and songwriter whose band 'Sleepscape' recorded its latest album in 2010 and appear in gigs throughout London.
